Dohnuts came from behind in the last inning to beat the Capitals who were winning all through the game. Dohnuts needed 4 runs to take the lead and hold the Capitals to 0 to win.

Scavenge Hunt
My 1st time organising one of these and a last minute decision to do it but those who participated seemed to enjoy - some crazy stories of how things were collected or photographed and the bar staff had a good laugh.
Storks got max points - 250 to take the case of beer
- team member in uniform paddling in the sea - Eagles decided 1st person to strike out had to do it so Lesley walked for miles out since the tide was out to do the deed. Lorna on the other hand (Storks) climbed down some cliffs which were much closer to get her picture taken.
- picture of convertable with top down - now how about 1 team stopping a car and asking if the driver would kindly put his top down so they could take a photograph - Driver "Is it raining" - No said the Stork - Driver - "Ok then" and pressed the button.
Picture of a carnation - local garage must have wondered what folk were doing taking pictures of his flowers !!

Best of all must have been the kindly gentleman who was in for a quiet pint - folk were meant to take a picture of a bowler but there were no games on BUT he just happened to have his bowls with him in the clubhouse so he got them out for pictures to be taken...
