Saturday 5th of July (this weekend) there is an American Football Festival on at Meadowbank stadium. There are a lot of fans of American sports such as baseball and softball also like american football etc. So we thought it's only right to make sure we get the word spread as far and as wide as we can.

Next year we will be working with this organisation to see if there's a way to combine forces with softball and other "american" sports to host a full weekend of American Festival of Sport. 4th of July falls on a Saturday in 2009 and it would be great to have a big sporting community together to celebrate the best exports the USA ever had.

Anyway that's next year and we'd want to start looking into that soon, but in the meantime we'd ask you to please inform your teams, and players of our games on Saturday at Meadowbank. Doors open at 12pm with a Youth game, followed by a junior game and then the adults get to play the all important league game against Manchester. We are only charging £3 for ALL DAY access and kids go free with paying adult! If you could pass that info along we'd be most grateful.
